Curious about the first paycheck received by K-pop idols? Take a look at some of the discussions that have taken place among various idols, including tripleS, NewJeans, and STAYC, regarding their initial earnings.
On the July 13 episode of MBC’s “Point of Omniscient Interfere,”tripleS members Kim Yooyeon and Kim Nakyung talked about receiving their first paycheck. In addition to receiving their first earnings just two months after their debut, NewJeans has also made headlines in the past. According to the Financial Supervisory Service’s electronic disclosure system in April, ADOR’s sales in 2023 totaled 110.3 billion won, which is more than five times the previous year’s sales of 19 billion won.
Despite a deficit of 4 billion won the previous year, the company saw a significant increase in operating profits, which reached 33.5 billion won. It is estimated that the total amount received by NewJeans members was around 26.1 billion won, meaning each of the five members likely received more than 5 billion won.
