To obtain Excellent Lacquer, you can collect it from gathering points in the third zone of the Dappled Forest, various gathering points in Eldroad, and by completing the “Seek out rare lumber!” Guild mission at your HQ. These methods are only available in the middle of the game, but you may find that you need Excellent Lacquer in order to upgrade your HQ to Level 3.

Gathering Points in the Dappled Forest

The most accessible location to obtain Excellent Lacquer in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is from gathering points in the third zone of the Dappled Forest. The Dappled Forest is situated south of your HQ and can be accessed early on in the game. However, Excellent Lacquer can only be found in the third zone (the northern end), which becomes available after completing the parallel story segments at Impershi’arc and the Rune-Lens Research Laboratory.

The Dappled Forest is a non-essential area that specializes in gathering. In the first zone, you can encounter Kerrin, who can be recruited to join your party.
