The newest playable Warframe added to the game is Koumei, a character whose abilities revolve around dice rolls to determine status effect attacks on enemies. If you’re looking to unlock Koumei in Warframe, here’s how to do it.
How to Unlock Koumei in Warframe
You can earn Koumei in-game by completing the Saya’s Visions mission and purchasing the components using Fate Pearls. Alternatively, she is available for purchase in the Market for 370 Platinum, the game’s premium currency.
To access the mission, speak with Saya in Cetus, Earth, and activate it at the Koumei Shrine under Saya’s Visions. Make sure you have finished the Once Awake and Saya’s Vigil Quests beforehand to unlock this option.
In the Saya’s Visions mission, players will defend zones against Infested enemies to spawn Offerings that are delivered to the Koumei Shrine. After collecting five Offerings, you will engage with the Infested Oni boss.
Once you defeat the boss, the mission will conclude, rewarding you with 14-18 Fate Pearls on normal difficulty, and 20-24 on Steel Path difficulty. There is also a chance to receive one of the blueprints for the frame. The collected resources can be utilized at the Koumei Shrine for the following:
- Koumei Blueprint – 165 Fate Pearls
- Koumei Neuroptics Blueprint – 55 Fate Pearls
- Koumei Chassis Blueprint – 55 Fate Pearls
- Koumei Systems Blueprint – 55 Fate Pearls
Koumei Crafting Requirements in Warframe
After purchasing the blueprints from the Koumei Shrine in Cetus, you must build the parts and the frame at the Foundry on your ship. Each component will require 12 hours to build, while the complete Koumei frame will need 24 hours unless you opt to spend Platinum to expedite the process.
