Fortnite’s Chapter 5 Season 4 is filled with numerous challenges and quests for players to take on. While these can be monitored from the game menu, there is one secret quest that many gamers might overlook.

This isn’t the first time Fortnite has introduced a secret quest; a similar feature was added during the Metallica collaboration. However, triggering this quest requires specific actions, which can be challenging if you’re unsure where to begin.

How to Unlock the Secret Quest in Fortnite

Engage with Peelverine near the Reckless Railways POI to initiate the secret quest.

To embark on the secret quest in Fortnite Chapter 5, Season 4, your first step is to locate the Peelverine NPC and converse with him. In the game, he can be found skating around the Reckless Railways POI. Here, you will also notice a countdown timer that indicates an upcoming live event.

When you speak to Peelverine, he will ask for your assistance in battling Doom, which entails activating Rift Beacons scattered across the map.

How to Activate Rift Beacons for Peelverine

Explore the map to find the locations of the Rift Beacons.

Once you’ve accepted the quest from Peelverine, navigate to the locations marked on your map with an exclamation mark, indicating where the Rift Beacons are situated. Fortunately, these beacons are relatively close to where you currently are.

Approach and interact with the Rift Beacons to complete Peelverine’s Found Quest.

Your next step is to get close to the Rift Beacons and press the interact button. For PC players, this will be the “E” key, while console players will use the X or square button on their controllers.
