Satisfactory 1.0 is now live on PC, introducing a multitude of adjustments, enhancements, and new systems. Most players should find it easy to adapt to these changes, with familiar elements remaining intact. Additionally, the game features performance improvements due to comprehensive optimization efforts. If you’re interested in monitoring your FPS while playing Satisfactory, this guide will show you how to enable the in-game FPS counter.
How to Enable the FPS Counter in Satisfactory
To enable the default Unreal Engine FPS counter in Satisfactory, you’ll need to input a command in the console.
- First, press the ~ key to access the console in Satisfactory. Press it again to adjust its visibility.
- Next, type the following command:
Stat FPS
- Hit Enter, and the FPS counter will display on the right side of the screen, showing both the current FPS and frametime in small green text.
- This counter remains visible even in the main menu.
However, one issue with this FPS counter is its tendency to fluctuate rapidly, which can make it difficult to read. For a clearer display, consider using the Steam FPS counter, which allows for position adjustments as well.
While in-game, press Shift + Tab and select the settings gear icon. Under the In Game tab, choose a position for the FPS counter from the In-game FPS counter dropdown menu.
With the launch of Satisfactory 1.0, several new network issues have surfaced. While there are many improvements, if you encounter API issues with your servers, consider updating your ports for better functionality.
