How to Skip the God of War Ragnarok Intro Videos
To bypass the intro videos in God of War Ragnarok, you’ll need to delete certain video files located in the installation directory.
- Navigate to the installation folder for God of War Ragnarok and locate the following directories:
\exec\cinematics
- Within the cinematics directory, remove the following files:
ss_studios.bk2 pss_studios_4k_30.bk2 pss_studios_30.bk2
By deleting these files, you can save several seconds and jump into the game much quicker. It’s somewhat disappointing that many major Sony releases follow this pattern when the intro videos are typically skippable in most games. We do suggest that you do not skip the “Shader Compilation” process that occurs at every launch.
