You can cancel construction planning by deselecting all tiles intended for construction. This is the only method in Frostpunk 2 to terminate a construction before it actually begins.
When planning construction, players select the desired tiles and confirm by clicking the check mark. If mistakes are made or decisions change, players can deselect the tiles. During this process, you can choose to remove some tiles for adjustments or deselect all to start anew.
