This trio has deep lore, as Johto mythology has it that they were once nameless Pokémon who died when Scrap Tower burned, and were resurrected in their current form by Ho-Oh.
Raikou is available for Pokémon Go players to capture, having been introduced to the mobile game in 2017. Dark Raikou is currently featured in Dark Raids, making this a good opportunity to look for the Thunder Pokémon.

Like most other Legendary Pokémon, Raikou can only be encountered and captured after defeating it in a 5-Star Raid. It cannot be encountered in the wild.
