With over 30 million pre-registrations on both PC and mobile platforms, Wuthering Waves is undoubtedly one of the most highly-anticipated releases of the year. Similar to other popular miHoYo titles such as Genshin Impact and Honkai Star Rail, the PC version utilizes a launcher. However, this launcher may present some challenges, such as defaulting to a different language upon installation. If you encounter this issue, here is a guide on how to change the language in the Wuthering Waves launcher.
Switch Wuthering Waves Launcher Language
In order to alter the language on the Wuthering Waves launcher, you must click on the settings gear icon and modify the first option using the dropdown menu.
The detailed steps are outlined below:
- Run the launcher, and select the gear icon in the top right
- Now, the first option in this new window has a dropdown next to it.
- Click the dropdown and select the language you want to choose as shown below.
- Select the bottom right option (Confirm) in the new window, and then select the right-most option again (Yes)
- This will restart the launcher, and your chosen language will be applied to the launcher
Simply follow these steps to modify the language of the launcher’s interface.
In case the language defaults to a different option, it is possible that the system language (Windows) is set to a non-English language. However, changing the language is not a complicated task as it is the first option available in the settings menu. Although the launcher may have room for improvement, we have not encountered any significant problems so far.
