In Warhammer 40k: Space Marine 2, character customization plays a crucial role in enhancing gameplay, offering a plethora of options. The game features heightened battles, and the diverse customization choices allow players to add unique personality traits to their characters, should they wish to develop them further.
Players enjoy significant creative liberties when it comes to personalizing armor sets, with the option to modify individual pieces for the perfect look. However, the process can be more complex than it initially appears.

While customization is not permitted in the campaign mode, players can utilize it in Operations and Eternal War PvP modes. In these modes, they can personalize their character’s appearance, equipment, armor, and select unique perks.
Note: Operations and Eternal War PvP modes each have distinct customization options. To maintain a consistent look, you’ll need to customize separately for every mode.
2. How to unlock character customization?
After completing the tutorial level Skyfire in Space Marine 2, players will unlock the “Inferno” story mission. This mission introduces a new perspective and provides access to character customization at the Armoring Hall, situated at the base of the landing pad close to mission launches.
3. How to customize armor?
- Press the ‘Tab’ key to access the Armoring Hall.
- Select either the Operations or Eternal War mode.
- Choose the armor class you wish to customize.
- Click the ‘Edit Armor’ option located at the bottom of your screen.
This action will bring up the armor selection menu, showing all available armor sets.
