Fengxi is the boar monster that emerges at the conclusion of Two Chivalrous Heroes in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. The community’s opinion on this monster is mixed; some players can’t manage to bring him below half health, while others breeze through him.
This is closely related to the strategies employed by the participants. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty enables players to customize their load-outs, however, some of them don’t function as well as Fengxi. Each player, regardless of build or ability level, may succeed with the appropriate approach.
Getting Ready for the Battle
While receiving a full respec in the middle of a battle would be unrealistic, there are a few things that all players may do to make this last boss fight simpler. Go to the nearest flag and double-check that the Divine Beast, reinforcements, weapons, and armor are all in working order.
It’s usually a good idea to stock up on morale and fortitude. To make this battle simpler, rest at a flag and keep murdering previously beaten foes until you reach the maximum mortality of 25. Obtaining all of the flags will help guarantee that the fortitude is as high as possible, reducing the punishment if the character is defeated by the monster. Charge the Divine Beast meter as well.
How to Survive Fengxi
Like with most bosses, defeating Fengxi requires learning the movements and blocking or parrying each blow. In the case of Fengxi, it’s advisable to remain as far back as possible, enabling him to approach the character and then deflect his strikes.
Fengxi’s Movements
Fegxi will raise one of his front hooves, then raise both of his front hooves and lower them again. This is an indication that he is preparing to charge. Melee characters may simply duck around behind him, while ranged builds can easily deflect as he slowly pushes forward with his tusks.
Fengxi will rush back in the direction he came from in the latter portion of this fight, so prepare to parry this move twice.
Fengxi is going to punch downward below him if he raises his front legs and rotates his head. He immediately follows this with another punch using the same motion. Deflecting both of these attacks should aid in replenishing the spirit meter. In this circumstance, ranged characters just need to care for their buddy.
Fengxi is going to swing around for a broad strike in front of him when he twists his head to the side. While deflecting this strike is preferable, it may be rapid, thus ducking backward or rushing around to his behind are all acceptable choices.
Fengxi is going to start bucking in every direction if he lifts his front hooves and head into the air. The timing varies depending on where the player is positioned, but it hits both his front and rear sides. It’s better to return and wait until all four of his legs are back on the ground.
Fengxi will occasionally go entirely airborne and attempt to hit the character with a belly flop. Ranged and melee players must both be on the lookout for this assault, although the timing is straightforward because he falls at the rate of gravity.
Fengxi possesses two unblockable strikes, both of which are simpler to counter from a distance. Keep an eye on his next move once he becomes red.
With his belly flop assault, he stands on his hind legs and lifts his body into the air. He’ll leap over to the character and smack his belly down upon arrival. Wait until he begins to smash down before deflecting; he frequently lingers above the character to trick the player into deflecting too soon.
Fengxi’s other unblockable move is another charge, which is timed very similarly to his initial charge. As he glows red and energy enters his skull, it indicates that a charge is approaching. Players further back will have an easier time deflecting before Fengxi arrives.
When Fegxi is stunned by a negative spirit bar, employ a Divine Beast to do some extra damage before the fatal blow.
This battle is a random mix of these moves. Understanding that he is an early primary boss, feel free to restart with an ideal early-game build if he proves too challenging. Farming this level for weapons and armor may also be advantageous.
