The recently released Season 3: Reloaded for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has introduced a new Warlord named the Rainmaker to the game’s Zombies mode. This guide will explain how to locate and take down the Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies.
Guide to Locating the Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies
The Rainmaker Warlord can be found in the southeastern part of the map, close to Shanin Manor. The fortress is situated on an island in the center of the lake, at coordinates H8-I8 in the neutral tier 1 zone.
Getting to the island is not a difficult task, however, players will require a Fortress Keycard in order to access the main building. This follows the same pattern as the previous warlords such as Dokkaebi, Legacy, and Keres. Here’s a guide on obtaining a Fortress Keycard:
- To obtain a Stronghold Keycard, you can finish a Mercenary Camp or Mercenary Convoy, or you can buy it from the Buy Station for 2,000 Essence.
- The keycard can be utilized to gain entry into any Mercenary Stronghold marked on the map. Once inside, eliminate any threats and then proceed to drill open the safe.
- Acquire the Fortress Keycard item from the safe.
Strategies for Defeating the Rainmaker Warlord in MW3 Zombies
It is important to be well-prepared before attempting to reach the island, as it is heavily guarded by respawning soldiers and scattered claymores. Bringing along teammates for additional support is highly recommended. Swimming or ziplining are the main methods of reaching the island.
In order to successfully complete the fight, it is necessary to have a Pack-a-Punched weapon at level two or three and an ample supply of Armor Plates. This is essential due to the likelihood of being shot frequently. As you enter the main building, which has multiple entrances, be cautious of claymores and make sure to clear out all soldiers and traps on the first floor.
Be cautious when turning corners as the building is equipped with tripwire sensors and sentries. The Rainmaker can be found on the second floor, so make sure to mark him as soon as he is spotted for easier tracking.
The limited space in the small rooms does not allow for much strategic planning, therefore take the opportunity to eliminate the Rainmaker Warlord whenever it presents itself. Do not hesitate to use a Pack-a-Punched level three weapon and rely on your team for support. It is crucial to end the fight quickly before running out of Armor Plates while facing reinforcements.
MW3 Zombies Rainmaker Warlord Reward
Defeating the Rainmaker Warlord will result in acquiring the Clean House blueprint for the DG-56 assault rifle. Before it can be extracted, an empty weapon slot is required to carry it.
Regrettably, the weapon is solely a Contraband item and can only be used in upcoming Zombies matches. It is not a blueprint that can be transferred to MW3 multiplayer or Warzone.
