How to Earn PlayStation Trophies on PC

Sony has announced that it will now offer PlayStation Trophies for its exclusive games on the PC platform. Here’s a guide on how to earn and view them.

In response to players’ growing demand for a comparable rewards system, modeled after Xbox’s Achievement system, Sony created PlayStation Trophies.

This new feature enhanced the feeling of prestige and progress, inspiring players to strive for higher levels in their gameplay. PlayStation Trophies often serve as a representation of a person’s dedication and skill.

With the recent trend of porting PlayStation exclusives to PC, the Trophy system has been left behind. However, in anticipation of the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut on PC on May 16, 2024, Sony has revealed that PlayStation Trophies will now be available for PC players.

This is the process and the ways in which you can earn them.

Earning and Checking PlayStation Trophies on PC

The PlayStation Blog has announced that the release of Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut will bring a new PlayStation overlay to PC.

The updated system will incorporate your Friends list, Trophies, preferences, and profile. It will be made available on Windows PCs in the near future and can be accessed through the in-game menu or by using the keyboard shortcut “SHIFT +F1” for players using a keyboard.

Once you press the designated keys, the overlay will appear and grant you access to your PlayStation Network profile, just as you would on a PS console. Please note that you must be logged into your PSN account in order to view your progress.

When playing the soon-to-be-released Ghost of Tsushima PC port, you will have the opportunity to earn PlayStation Trophies, just as you would on a PlayStation console. The PC version features the same Trophy set as the game on PlayStation 5 consoles. Additionally, it fully supports Achievements on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
