Head to this part of The Crossroads, right next to Schelemeus, in order to Meditate and upgrade your Grasp.

After selecting Melinoë’s portrait, you will be given the choice to increase your overall Grasp by sacrificing some of your Psyche. This will allow you to activate a greater number of Arcana Cards simultaneously, as your Grasp increases.
