How to Enter (and Finish) Testing Ground 1 in Atomic Heart

When exploring the open world of Atomic Heart, players will come across several testing sites strewn around Facility 3826. These optional testing grounds are mini-dungeons full of challenges and useful blueprints. As players proceed through the different test rooms, they can find the unique blueprints in bronze, silver, and gold loot robots.

Players may use blueprints to improve weapons in specified ways at vending machines. Several weapons and abilities in Atomic Heart cannot be utilized without these blueprints. Testing Ground 1, located northeast of the railway station, is one of the initial testing grounds that players can access. Use this guide to enter and finish the challenges in Testing Ground 1.

A spiral staircase may be seen just west of the entryway. Ascend the stairwell and turn on the terminal. This enables gamers to hack the area’s cameras. Locate the relevant camera and press RB/R1 to open the door. Gamers may now access Testing Ground 1 and utilize the elevator to descend. Gamers will enter a magnet puzzle chamber, which appears in various testing fields and laboratories throughout the main tale.

1 Puzzle Room

This space is easy to traverse. Cross the red row of magnets to get to the middle of the room. Use the Shok glove ability on the magnets above by looking up through the shattered ceiling. This will lower the front wall and reveal the escape door. Another wall will gradually obstruct the escape. Step forward and gaze up to notice a fresh collection of magnets on the ceiling. To open the exit, use Shok on them.

2 Puzzle Room

At first sight, this magnet chamber appears intimidating. Avoid the big magnet columns and go to the blue raised magnet strip just beneath the entryway. Go along it until you reach the non-magnetic platform. The overhang may be seen to the right. Descend to the ground’s blue magnetic strip. While standing on the ceiling magnets, use Shok to lift the blue strip. Take the overhang to the exit steps after exiting the strip. To increase jump range, double-tap the B/Circle button when leaping.

Bronze Chest

Continue through the tunnels until you reach a vent.
