As you enter your fiftieth raid, fully equipped with top-of-the-line gear, you are prepared to track and take down one of the numerous bosses in Escape From Tarkov. However, one boss is also on the hunt for you, and here is how you can locate and defeat Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov.

How to Locate Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov

Zryachiy can only be encountered in one raid location in Escape From Tarkov, which is Lighthouse. He is a renowned Cultist known for his exceptional skills as a sharpshooter, with rumors of his glowing white eyes. It is believed that his vision is enhanced to the point where he can see in the dark. Some may view this as a convenient excuse for the developers to explain an NPC with perfect aim, but that is just my personal interpretation.

One of the best things about Zryachiy, particularly if you’re trying to find him, is that he will always spawn at Lighthouse during each raid. The only challenge is locating him. He blends into the forest with his ghillie suit and carries an SVDS equipped with a suppressor, allowing him to take out targets from a distance.

Your best chance of finding this sniper is by visiting the Lighthouse directly. He can typically be found on the southeast island, protecting the lighthouse from any visitors.

Strategies to Defeat Zryachiy in Escape From Tarkov

To avoid being targeted by Zryachiy’s sniper, it is crucial to have a Digital Secure DSP Radio Transmitter while running Lighthouse. The transmitter must be encoded, as it will prevent them from shooting unless provoked.

Additionally, Zryachiy always has a pair of followers accompanying him. They will regenerate three times in total, resulting in a total of eight bodyguards to contend with. It can be a challenging battle when he is intentionally targeting you from afar.

Finally, the most effective strategy for defeating Zryachiy is to work together as a team. He is only able to target one person at a time, so take advantage of this by flanking him with the other members of your group. It is important to eliminate Zryachiy before his bodyguards, as they will continue to come back if they are not taken out first.
