Instructions for using Buddha’s Eyeballs

Once you have obtained all six Buddha’s Eyeballs, make a left turn from the Rockrest Flat shrine and locate the Rock Clash Platform arena. This is where your hidden boss battle will occur.

This arena will initially spawn the Stone Vanguard boss. However, by interacting with the rock in the arena and using Buddha’s Eyeballs, you can instead summon the Shigandang boss.

If you desire to witness an entertaining brawl, simply call upon them both and observe as they engage in a clash of wills.

How to Defeat Shigandang?

Shigandang is a hidden boss among the Yaoguai Kings. He can be found in the same arena as the Stone Vanguard boss, but their difficulty levels are not comparable. Nevertheless, they do share similar abilities.

The typical scenario involves the boss starting to glow before exploding, signaling the upcoming stone attacks. Once a radiant light appears, it is important to move away. Otherwise, the damage from a hit could be significant.

The boss will also start crawling and charging forward. If you don’t start running immediately, it will be difficult to escape from Shigandang.

To avoid the boss’s backhanded sweeps, remember to occasionally take a step back while attacking from the front.

In the event that Shigandang jumps into the air, it will descend with great force and launch a stone pillar into the sky. Prior to exploding, it will emit a glowing light, so it is advisable to move to either side to avoid it.

In addition, he can call forth rock pillars by leaping into the air. As he descends and forcefully slams his fists into the ground, a powerful shockwave of rock will be unleashed. Take advantage of the brief delay in this attack to unleash some strong combos.

With the boss’ health dwindling, you have the option to utilize the Azure Dust Transformation and transform into the powerful Rock Guai form. Accumulate Might and then execute a devastating Rockfall attack, ultimately depleting whatever remains of his health.

Rewards for Shigandang Boss Fight

  • Heart of Stone
  • Skhanda of Feeling
  • Mind Core x1
  • Yaoguai Core x2
  • 1652 Experience
  • 1371 Will
