How to Find the Turtle Tear and Defeat the Apramana Bat Boss in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Turtle Tear is a rare soak item in Black Myth: Wukong that provides full Mana recovery when using the gourd while at full health.

Nevertheless, it is only obtainable while completing the Turtle Tear quest in Chapter 3. Therefore, if you have not reached that point in the campaign, simply continue playing and patiently wait for your progress.

1. How to Obtain the Turtle Tear in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Turtle Tear is situated in the Bitter Lake area of the New West region, near the North Shore. It can be accessed in Chapter 3 after defeating the Apramana Bat boss in Black Myth: Wukong.

Hence, all you have to do is advance through the game’s plot until you reach Chapter 3 and gain access to the New West region. Once there, you must locate the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine and complete a few tasks with precision in order to trigger the appearance of this tear.

Initiating the Apramana Bat Boss Fight

Make sure you have Zhu Bajie, the pig NPC, with you when fast traveling to the North Shore of the Bitter Lake shrine, or else the boss will not appear.

Beginning at the shrine, make a right turn and proceed towards the lake shore. Continue running along the shore, where you will come across scattered giant snake skeletons throughout the area.

Follow the shoreline until you reach a point where the path diverges. Take the path to the right and pass through the arched gateway formed by a snake skeleton. Once you have crossed through it, you will come across a prompt on a skeleton head to your left.

Approach it and the Apramana Bat boss fight will begin.

3. How to Defeat the Apramana Bat Boss in Black Myth: Wukong?

The Apramana Bat boss can be easily defeated in Black Myth: Wukong by keeping it grounded and attacking it when it becomes staggered.

The Apramana Bat is a flying boss that can deal ranged damage, making it quite bothersome. Despite this, defeating it is not overly challenging.

To effectively defeat the enemy, it is important to keep it grounded and inflict as much physical damage as possible before it takes flight once more. Utilizing The Immobilize Spell can greatly aid in this battle. Additionally, mastering the art of evasion is crucial in order to avoid any counter-attacks.

4. Finding the Turtle Tear after Defeating Apramana Bat Boss

Once you have successfully defeated the boss, a cutscene will begin in which a colossal turtle emerges from the lake and releases a vivid green-blue tear onto the lake’s banks.

Upon noticing the turtle’s tears, Zhu Bajie will urge for them to be stopped. He will then suggest retrieving the last tear that fell onto the shore, as it is said to possess immense strength.

Locating the tear is not a simple task, but if you head towards the shore where you witnessed it fall, you won’t miss it. Glowing green and blue, the tear will be wedged among the rocks near the shore. Once you retrieve it, you can harness its power to replenish your mana.
