The ninth generation of Pokémon continues to flow into Pokémon Go, with new monsters regularly added during various events. While the essential starters Poussacha, Chochodile and Coiffeton have been available in the game since September 2023, it is time for other iconic Pokémon from the last generation to make a sensational entrance into Pokémon Go.
Thus, it is the adorable Pokémon Fire Charbambin which is about to join the application, accompanied by its two evolutions Carmadura and Malvalame. These two monsters, respectively Fire/Psychic and Fire/Ghost type, are among the most popular monsters in Pokémon Scarlet and Purple, and will undoubtedly be very popular as soon as they arrive in Pokémon Go.

When will Charbambin, Carmadura and Malvalame be available in Pokémon Go
Charbambin and its two evolutions will make their first appearance in Pokémon Go with the Celebration event for The Series: Pokémon, Horizons. This event will take place from Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10 a.m., to Monday, March 11, 2024, at 8 p.m. (local time).
How to get Charbambin in Pokémon Go
During the Celebration for The Series: Pokémon Horizons event, Charbambin can be found by hatching 2km, 5km and 10km Eggs.
Once the event is over, you will still have a chance to find Charbambin by hatching 10km Eggs.
How to evolve Charbambin into Carmadura or Malvalame in Pokémon Go
Charbambin has a less common evolution method than the classic Bonbons. To obtain Carmadura or Malvalame, you will need to make Charbambin your Buddy and battle Psychic or Ghost Pokémon.
To evolve Charbambin into Carmadura, you must defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokémon with Charbambin as your Buddy.
To evolve Charbambin into Malvalame, you must defeat 30 Psychic-type Pokémon with Charbambin as your Buddy.
Note that you do not need to fight while using Charbambin. As long as the latter is your Buddy, the counter of defeated Pokémon will progress.
