A player of Pokémon Go discovered an easy way to evolve Courrousing without having to go out, which was very appreciated by the fan community.
Curly Monkey is a new evolution of Ferosinge introduced in Pokémon Scarlet & Purple. This Ghost/Fighting-type Pokémon has quickly made a name for itself as one of the strongest new creatures on the competitive scene, thanks to its type, stats, and Ability.
To evolve Ferosing into Courrous Monkey in the main Pokémon games, it must use Fist of Anger twenty times and then level up. You can also encounter Courrousing in5- and 6-star Teracrystal Raid Battles, as long as you can defeat him first.
Pokémon Go has a different way of evolving Ferosing into Cowardly, as you must defeat 30 Ghost or Psychic-type Pokémon while Ferosing is set as your Buddy. This can be time consuming, but fans have devised a more efficient method to do it.

A user on the Pokémon Go Reddit explained a strategy for completing the evolution requirements of Courrousing as quickly as possible. This involves using Battle settings instead of going out and battling wild Pokémon or tackling Gyms.

The tactic involves facing Blanche in the Master League, which can be selected from the Combat menu. Blanche uses a Metagross on her team, a Psychic-type Pokémon that will count towards Courrousing’s requirements.
White starts with Suicune, so you’ll need a Pokémon that can defeat it, like Mega Jungko or Katagami. Once Suicune is eliminated, you must face Metagross, which can be beaten with a powerful Fire or Dark-type Pokémon, such as Mega Charizard Y or Mega Tyranitar.
Once you’re done with Metagross, you can leave the fight, heal your team, then restart the fight. It’s important to note that you don’t even need a Feromone on your team for this trick – just set him as your Buddy while the fights are going on.
With this tip in mind, you should be able to receive a Courrousinge in no time. This still requires a bit of grinding, but if you have the right team for it, you can do it from home without having to rely on chance, as you’re guaranteed to face a Psychic-type every time you tackle White.
