How to get Granivol in Pokémon Go: Capture, shiny, evolution…

Granivol is a very well-known Pokémon from the Johto region, so if you haven’t caught one yet, or if you’re trying to evolve it to its final stage, here’s how you can catch it in Pokémon Go and if it may or may not be shiny.

Players got their first glimpse of Granivol when Generation 2 was introduced to the franchise with Pokémon Gold & Silver, and as expected, it debuted in Pokémon Go alongside Johto’s Pokédex in 2017.

Now, Granivol will be the star of the upcoming spotlight hour, so players will have the opportunity to catch as many as they want and gather enough Stardust to evolve him, and why not, find his shiny variant.

How to evolve Granivol into Floravol and Cotovol in Pokémon Go

The Granivol evolution line has three stages, but luckily for you, it has no special conditions, items, or buddy tasks.

To evolve Granivol into Floravol, you need to give it 25 Candies, and then to evolve Granivol into its final form, Cotovol, you will need an additional 100 Candies.

If you’re low on Candy, the Featured Hour event is the perfect time to catch lots of Granivol, as they will come with a double Candy bonus. Additionally, you can use Nanana Berries, or transfer your extra Granivol to Professor Willow.

Can Granivol be shiny in Pokémon Go?
