If you’re interested in getting into Deadlock’s hero shooter MOBA, which is currently in its playtest phase, there are a few important things you should know due to its exclusivity.
Despite its gameplay footage leaking steadily since May and having tens of thousands of players online, Valve has still not publicly acknowledged the existence of its new game.
Despite not receiving recognition from its creators, Deadlock continues to gain hype. As its player count steadily increases, you may want to consider trying out this hero shooter MOBA during its playtest.
How to Join Deadlock Playtest
One can currently gain early access to Deadlock through two main methods: either receiving a random invitation from Valve or being invited by a friend.
Receiving a spontaneous invitation from Valve is the more challenging route, as it relies solely on luck. With the vast number of Steam accounts in existence, your odds of receiving one are quite slim.
As time goes by, Valve is continuously sending out invites, gradually increasing the chances of receiving one.
As Deadlock’s player base increases the chances of you getting invited are increasing as well.
Furthermore, a Steam user who is already granted access may suggest potential friends for invitations, although ultimately, it is not guaranteed that they will receive an invitation from Valve.
If you know someone who already has access, they can invite you to the playtest. They can simply send the invite from the game and you can accept it once you receive it.
This indicates that if you receive an invitation from a friend, you have the option to invite additional friends to join, which appears to be Valve’s approach for distributing the playtest.
Aside from those two choices, there are currently no other methods of entering Deadlock. However, the game’s community is steadily growing each day, which means that your chances of gaining access will also improve with the increasing player base.
