The OWCS social media account has revealed that viewers will be able to earn drops while streaming on YouTube and Twitch during the Dallas Major.
The Viewership Incentives program offers a variety of cosmetics such as sprays, Icons, Avatars, and skins. It bears resemblance to the program previously utilized by the Overwatch League before its discontinuation in 2023.
Audiences were given the opportunity to receive rewards for tuning in during the regular season leading up to the major tournament, and now they have the chance to obtain potentially superior drops during the LAN event with only a few hours of viewing.
Here is how to earn OWCS drops
Initially, Overwatch players are required to link their Battle.net accounts with either YouTube or Twitch, depending on their preferred platform for viewing. OWCS will be airing on both live-streaming platforms as well as a select few others.
