To celebrate the fourth anniversary since its initial release, the developers decided to give players a gift through a unique weapon camouflage that pays homage to the game’s history. And best of all, it’s free.

How to unlock the Warzone 4th Anniversary camouflage

The Warzone 4th Anniversary skin will be coming to Warzone and MW3 during Season 3, but it hasn’t been confirmed how it will be unlocked. The third season is set to begin on Wednesday, April 10, and the camouflage will likely be available as part of an anniversary event, but this has not been announced by the developers.

If the skin is part of an in-game event’s rewards, players will either need to accumulate a certain amount of XP or complete specific challenges. The 2023 anniversary reward was offered as a free pack, but since it looks like players will have to “earn” the 2024 version, it seems like more steps will be involved.

In the announcement video shared by the developers, camouflage is equipped on the MCW assault rifle. However, once it’s released, it’s unclear if you’ll be able to use the skin on any weapon in the game.
