National Taco Day is just around the corner, and Taco Bell is celebrating by offering tacos for just $1 each, along with several exciting surprises. However, you’ll need to act quickly to claim these deals while supplies last.
This fall, Taco Bell has plenty to celebrate. In September, they secured a legal victory against another taco chain, allowing them to officially designate National Taco Day on the first Tuesday in October, effectively creating the ultimate “Taco Tuesday.”
“For years, we’ve celebrated National Taco Day on October 4, but it always seemed like there was a bigger opportunity to blend it with something even more special—Taco Tuesday,” stated Marlo Anderson, founder of National Day Calendar.
To honor this Tuesday’s National Taco Day, Taco Bell is offering $1 tacos for an impressive ten-hour period. If you visit your local store on October 1, you can grab up to ten tacos for just $1 each.

Taco Bell has a total of 100,000 tacos available from 10 AM to 7 PM. To participate, simply sign up to become a Taco Bell rewards member. Different taco varieties from the menu will be available throughout the day, following this schedule:
- 10 AM: Crunchy Taco
- 11 AM: Double Stacked Taco
- 12 PM: Supreme Cottage
- 1 PM: Nacho Cheese Doritos Locos Tacos
- 2 PM: Cantina Chicken Crispy Taco
- 3 PM: Cantina Chicken Soft Taco
- 4 PM: Soft Taco Supreme
- 5 PM: Cheesy Gordita Crunch
- 6 PM: Crunchy Taco Supreme
- 7 PM: Soft Taco
Additionally, Taco Bell will be offering more enticing prizes throughout October, so keep an eye out for these events:
- (October 15) Taco Tuesday Liberation Anniversary! – Free Tacos Every Tuesday for a Year – To celebrate their legal success, Taco Bell will reward 500 Rewards Members with a taco-based deal: free Soft or Crunchy Tacos via the app every Taco Tuesday for an entire year.
- (October 22) Choose your $1 favorite – 50,000 fortunate Rewards Members can select one of eight favorite items for just $1. Available options include Regular Nacho Fries, DLT Supreme, Chalupa, Cantina Chicken Soft Taco, Cheese Quesadilla, Burrito Supreme, Beefy Five-Layer Burrito, and the Cheesy Gordita Crunch.
- (October 29) Exclusive Merchandise – To conclude the month of giveaways, Taco Bell will distribute 500 merch bundles, featuring exclusive cups and hoodies.
