To complete the Springdance Shrub page, there are seven hints to be filled in.
- Hydrangeas – Gardening Workspace
- Pot Catalogue – Gardening Workspace
- Bird Poster – Bird Garden
- Bird Seeds – Bird Garden
- Greeting Card – Side Terrace
- Pigment Research – Garden Paths
- Soil pH Research – Garden Paths
The hints indicate that in order to grow the Springdance Shrub, we will need to utilize a separate pot, different components, and work together with a bird. Additionally, the hints inform us that the shrub contains anthocyanin.
The Pigment Research reveals the pH levels of variously colored hydrangeas in the vicinity, including red ones. According to the Soil pH Research chart, which indicates a pH level of 12-14 for red hydrangeas, the recommended pot and fertilizer for this plant are Sandstone and Seaweed, respectively.
To make your Springdance Shrub, use a Sandstone pot from the small shed and place it on the table next to it. Pour Seaweed into the pot to change the plant’s color from white to red.
Take the plant and place it on the circular placeholder located on the table in the Bird Garden. Then, retrieve the bird feeder from the nearby table. There is a birdhouse at the top of the garden where a Robin resides, and we must entice it to come to the plant.
Since there is already one bird feeder by the birdhouse, you will have to alternate between the two bird feeders on different hooks across the garden. Be careful not to disturb the bird or it may not move to the next feeder. Repeat this until the bird reaches the plant, which will allow the Springdance Shrub to fully bloom.
