When both the Hunger and Rest bars are full, players then gain the “Relaxed” buff. This buff helps slowly recover health over time. This means that even early in the game, players can recover from any unfortunate injuries.

To activate the “Relaxed” buff, simply make sure the Food and Hunger bars are maxed out.

To max out these bars, players can eat food, such as Campfire Cooked Meat to fill the hunger bar, then use the Sleeping Bag item to rest.

It only takes a few seconds of rest to restore a good portion of your health. And with the “Relaxed” buff active, players are free to dive back into exploring with some peace of mind.
