Are you struggling to find a way to replenish the inventory of merchants in Star Wars Outlaws? It can be frustrating when trying to obtain rare materials or unlock abilities and upgrades, only to find that the necessary items are out of stock. Fortunately, there are two methods to help merchants in Star Wars Outlaws restock their inventory, making the process less tedious.
Restocking Merchants’ Inventory in Star Wars Outlaws
To restock their inventory in Star Wars Outlaws, the simplest method for merchants is to take the Trailblazer into orbit and then fast travel back. This requires manually returning to the Trailblazer and launching into space first in order to initiate the restock process. Fast traveling between planets will not have the same effect.
Once you reach space, you can quickly return to the nearest fast travel point to access your preferred merchant.
For example, consider Hen Puon from Mirogana on Toshara – he is the sole non-travelling merchant known to sell Robuma Leather, a crucial material for creating the Scoundrel’s Pouch skill.
The issue is that Hen Puon only offers two batches of Robuma Leather at once, but Scoundrel’s Pouch requires four. To solve this, I went back to the Trailblazer, sat in the pilot’s seat, and chose “Take off”to reach orbit. After fast traveling to the nearby Crimson Dawn district and returning to Hen Puon, I was able to quickly replenish my supply of Robuma Leather – the whole process took just a few minutes.
Restocking Over Time
As long as you haven’t been launching into space, merchants will restock their inventory at least once every day. This occurs in real-time and not within the game itself, as the game’s time progression appears to be synced with your system.
At 6 PM, we finished using up all of Hen Puon’s Robuma Leather and returned just past midnight. Despite not leaving Toshara, we were surprised to find the stock replenished. If you need to rapidly increase your supply of essential materials, the first method mentioned is the most effective. However, it is also useful to be aware of this second method, as it can be utilized after taking a break between sessions.
