In the latest update, v32.10, Fortnite has unveiled an exciting new feature: Kicks! These innovative sneaker cosmetics allow players to personalize their avatars with trendy footwear that complements their favorite skins. With this latest addition, the options for creating unique character looks are virtually limitless.
However, some players have encountered challenges when trying to acquire and equip Kicks in Fortnite. Fortunately, Epic Games has acknowledged the issue and is working on a swift resolution.
1. How to Acquire Kicks in Fortnite
Kicks can be obtained similarly to other cosmetic items in the game; players can unlock them by reaching specific tiers of the Battle Pass or purchasing them from the item shop using V-Bucks.
The inaugural pair, the “Air Jordan 1 High OG ‘Black Toe Reimagined’,” has made its debut, with Epic Games teasing the release of multiple new styles in the forthcoming weeks. Players will soon have the opportunity to select the perfect pair to match their chosen outfit.
2. How to Equip Kicks in Fortnite
To equip Kicks in Fortnite, follow these steps:
- Navigate to the Locker from the main menu.
- Select the Character tab.
- Proceed to the Outfits tab.
- Click the Sort Filter button.
- Apply the Kicks Usable filter to narrow down your choices.
- Pick your preferred Kicks and equip them.
We are delaying the release of Kicks in the 32.10 release while we work on a visual issue. Players will still unlock the AJ1 Black Toe Reimagined in the Remix Pass, but will be unable to equip them. We’re working on a fix and will update you soon! pic.twitter.com/0avyJgdYOr

Currently, equipping Kicks has been disabled due to a glitch that renders character skins invisible. Additionally, many skins may not yet be optimized for the new Kicks. Players will need to remain patient as Epic Games works to address these issues, promising the game experience will soon become even more dynamic and engaging.
3. About Fortnite
Launched in 2017 by Epic Games, Fortnite has become a cultural phenomenon. It features three primary modes, all harnessing the same core game engine: Fortnite Battle Royale, a competitive player-versus-player experience where up to 100 players vie to be the last one standing; Fortnite: Save the World, a cooperative hybrid of tower defense, shooter, and survival gameplay; and Fortnite Creative, which empowers players to craft their own worlds and gameplay experiences.
