Glassrock can be obtained by players in Hades 2 through mining the rocky mineral in the game’s third area, known as the Mourning Fields. However, in order to access this area, players must first defeat the Erebus boss, Hecate, and Scylla in the Oceanus region. Subsequently, players will need to revisit both regions in future runs in order to return to the Mourning Fields.

In order to mine Glassrock, players must use the Crescent Pick tool, which can be obtained by spending one Ash at the start of the game. Since Melinoë can only hold one tool at a time, it is important to equip the Crescent Pick at the Silver Pools before embarking on the next run.

The Glassrock, a rare find in the Mourning Fields, is easily recognizable with its pointy purple appearance. Unlike other regions, this area is characterized by a few open fields and a series of interconnected rooms.

The expansive fields are significantly larger in comparison to the cramped rooms, requiring players to thoroughly search along the perimeter. Luckily, harvesting the Ore Deposit will yield three Glassrock on each occasion.

Glassrock is essential for unlocking the Argent Skull weapon and certain Weapon Aspects. However, its most crucial use is for upgrading the Crescent Pick Rank II, which enables players to extract a greater amount of minerals from Ore Deposits with each use. This will prove beneficial in later stages of the game, as some upgrades may require more than 10 minerals at once.
