Where to Find the Blackgaol Knight Boss in Shadow of the Erdtree
The Blackgaol Knight boss can be located in the Western Nameless Mausoleum, situated in a small alcove on the western side of the Gravesite Plains on the map.
Head West on the DLC map to find the Blackgaol Knight boss.
As you step into the Mausoleum, your eyes will be drawn to a set of stairs directly in front of you. Descend the steps, navigate through the mist, and you will come face to face with the Blackgaol Knight. Defeat him and the treasure will be yours for the taking.
Tips for Defeating the Blackgaol Knight Boss in Elden Ring DLC
As soon as you step into the boss arena, the Blackgaol Knight will immediately try to prepare his crossbow for a long-range strike. But if you act swiftly, you can charge forward and close the gap before he can even release a single bolt.
Although summons cannot be used as a distraction in this encounter, we highly recommend utilizing heavy weapons if they are available. A well-timed charged attack with a heavy weapon can knock the Blackgaol Knight off balance, providing an opportunity for another strike before he can recover. By continuously repeating this cycle without sustaining any damage in return, victory can be achieved with ease.
If your build does not permit the use of heavy weapons, it is important to stay alert and continuously move around the boss. Remaining stationary for an extended period of time can be dangerous.
