How to Obtain Honey in Palworld
As it is not sold at any Wandering Merchant location, the primary method of obtaining Honey in Palworld is by collecting it from defeated or captured Pals, or by farming it on your base.
Currently, there are only four Pals in the game that have the ability to drop Honey.
- Cinnamoth (#41)
- Beegarde (#50)
- Elizabee (#51)
- Warsect (#92)
At the start of the game, it is most beneficial to farm Honey from Cinnamoth as they are easily defeated. It is recommended to prioritize finding and defeating Cinnamoth during the early stages of Palworld. As you progress and face other Pals, ensure that you are well-prepared.
Honey Locations in Palworld
We have provided a list of all the locations where Pals that drop Honey can be found in Palworld below.
Cinnamoths are known to inhabit the center island, where all the Mountain Stream Grotto dungeons are located. Make sure to thoroughly explore the area to discover this insect, which produces Honey.
Cinnamoths can be found in the highlighted areas.
Beegarde is a dependable Pal for farming Honey. Thankfully, they can be easily spotted in the Frostbound Mountains. However, it is important to approach them cautiously and quickly capture them, as they possess a powerful attack called Bee Quiet that can lead to their immediate demise.
Beegardes and Elizabees can be found in the highlighted areas.
Elizabees can be found in various locations on the northeastern grassy island, including around the Frostbound Mountains. This is also the same area where Beegardes are commonly encountered. However, there is one notable exception – an Alpha Elizabee can be found in the Devout’s Mineshaft on the Moonless Shore, north of the Ancient Ritual Site.
Elizabee’s location can be hard to find, as its dungeon is inside a cave.
Ultimately, obtaining Honey from Warsect may prove to be the most challenging task for players at the start of the game. They can face Warsect, who appears as an Alpha Boss in the Sealed Realm of the Stalwart dungeon at level 30, or in the No.2 Wildlife Sanctuary located on the western side of Palpagos Island.
Warsects can be found in the highlighted areas.

Farming Honey in Palworld
In addition to obtaining Honey from captured or deceased Pals, players can also acquire a significant amount of this resource by establishing a Honey farm after reaching level 5 and unlocking the Ranch.
To get your farm up and running, we suggest capturing a couple of Beegardes and enlisting them to work on your Ranch. Of course, in a pinch, any of the other Honey-producing Pals mentioned above can also be put to work at your base with equal ease.
The Ranch is unlocked at level 5 and requires Fiber, Wood, and Stone to be built.
Harvesting Honey from Beehives is a time-consuming process, as it can require several hours to extract the Honey. Therefore, it is wise to stock one of your bases with numerous Beehives in order to maximize Honey production.
Don’t forget to include either a Wooden Chest or a Feed Box in order to collect all of the Honey in a single location.
Honey’s Uses in Palworld – All Recipes
In Palworld, Honey serves only one purpose as an ingredient for crafting Cakes. Despite this seemingly unimportant role, Cakes play a crucial role in the game by allowing players to breed Pals.
Once you reach level 19 and unlock the Breeding Farm, you will have the ability to obtain Eggs from any combination of Pals. Simply place a male and female Pal together, place Cake in a Chest, and patiently wait.
Remember that in order to make a Cake, you must have a Cooking Pot (available at level 17), which calls for 3 Flame Organs, 20 Wood, and 15 Ingot. Once you have all the necessary materials, you can follow the recipe to create it.
