Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3 continues the trend of Marvel crossovers in the game, with the arrival of Magneto from the X-Men on the island.
The latest update for Fortnite, Chapter 5 Season 3, has been released, introducing a variety of new weapons and items for players to utilize. Along with a significant map overhaul, the update also features the addition of popular crossover skins, such as the well-known mutant Magneto from Marvel’s X-Men series. Fans can once again anticipate these exciting additions to the game.

Unlocking Magento in Fortnite
In July, completing Battle Pass challenges will grant you access to the Wastelander Magneto skin in Fortnite. As with each new Battle Pass, one skin will be reserved for release later in the season, and for Chapter 5 Season 3, the highly sought-after character has been chosen.
Therefore, while the remaining BP items, such as the Fallout T-60 Power Armor, were released on May 24, comic enthusiasts will have to be patient as Magneto is not yet available. It should also be mentioned that the challenges can only be accessed by purchasing the Battle Pass, so those who are only using the free rewards will not have access to it.
Epic Games has not yet revealed the specific challenges and release date, but they did give a general timeframe of July in the Season 3 blog for Fortnite Battle Royale.

The Wastelander Magneto skin will be available in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3. You will have approximately one month to complete the challenges and earn the skin, as the Battle Pass will expire on August 16, before Season 4 begins.
Each individual objective will also provide additional X-Men-themed cosmetics, including Back Bling, Gliders, and other items.
The appearance of Magneto in Fortnite may foreshadow future developments, as the previously leaked 2024 roadmap, which has been accurate thus far, indicated that Marvel will once again be the theme for Chapter 5 Season 4. We can also expect more comic book characters, as evidenced by the introduction of Loki skins towards the end of Season 2.
