The upcoming Pokemon Go 2024 World Championship will offer three Timed Research quests that can be accessed by players through Twitch Drop codes.
The codes will be unveiled during a special Twitch livestream of the event. And that’s not all – redeeming them guarantees incredible rewards such as encounters with rare Pokemon and valuable items.
How to Claim & Redeem World Championships Twitch Codes in Pokemon Go
- Stay updated by following the official Pokemon Go Twitch channel.
- Ensure that your Trainer Club account is linked to Twitch.
- It is recommended to view the live stream for a minimum of 30 minutes.
- Be sure to collect your Twitch Drop from the chat pop-up once the stream has ended.
- Claim your codes from View Inventory in rewards.pokemon.com. They will be available under ‘Show Code.’
- Redeem your code on the Pokemon Go Web Store.
- Access the Timed Research by logging into the game.
It is important to note that minimizing the stream will cause the Twitch Drop progress timer to pause. However, if you are unable to watch the live broadcast, you can still follow the steps during a rebroadcast to receive the codes.
Be sure to enter the correct code and click on ‘Apply.’

Each day, the streams will begin at 12:00 PM PT / 3:00 PM ET / 8:00 PM BST and continue until the end of the day’s rebroadcast.
The validity of all three codes will last until August 26, 2024, so be sure to redeem them before the expiration date.
2023 Pokemon World Champion Timed Research Rewards

This Timed Research will grant 8,500 Stardust and opportunities to encounter any of the listed Pokemon Go teams:
- Team 1: Dunsparce, Mantine, and Pancham
- Team 2: Galarian Weezing, Skorupi, and Chespin
- Team 3: Jigglypuff, Shellos*, and Inkay
Upon redeeming this Timed Research code, you will be given either East or West Sea Shellos depending on the species native to your location.

In addition, you will have the opportunity to encounter World Championships 2024 Pikachu and potentially even find a shiny version of this Pikachu.
