How to Obtain Remote Explosives in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

Fortnite’s update 30.20 has brought back Remote Explosives to the game’s loot pool.

Fortnite’s take on C4, Remote Explosives, made its first appearance in Season 3 of the Battle Royale mode. While it made a brief comeback in Chapter 4 Season OG, the weapon has since been placed back in the content vault following the throwback season.

However, with the release of update 30.20, the explosive device has been brought back, which is great timing considering the current vehicle-heavy meta in Chapter 5 Season 3.

How to Obtain Remote Explosives in Fortnite

Remote Explosives are obtainable through ground loot or chests, just like many other items in the Battle Royale. If they are not found through these means, they can also be bought from Vengeance Jones, located southwest of the Nitrodrome, for 180 Gold Bars.

To adhere to the rules, players are restricted to carrying a maximum of six Remote Explosives in a stack. To activate them, simply throw them using your designated aim button or keybind, and then detonate them with the designated fire button.

As stated previously, the focus on vehicles in Chapter 5 Season 3 of Fortnite has brought back items such as the Boogie Bomb and Remote Explosives, providing players with effective tools for countering opponents. These explosives can be strategically placed on vehicles as traps, or used as proximity mines to catch enemies off guard.

In addition to other changes, update 30.20 also introduced the Heavy Impact Sniper to the loot pool. Don’t forget to familiarize yourself with it. Furthermore, we have created guides on how to play the OG Reload mode, as well as all the weapon vaulting and unvaulting changes that have occurred this season.
