Since its initial appearance in Sword and Shield, Stonjourner makes its first appearance in Pokemon Go as a featured character in the Go All Out event in September.
The Rock-type, initially found in Galar, draws inspiration from the UK, similar to the region itself. Game Freak specifically used Stone Henge as the basis for Stonjourner’s design.
All the information we have gathered about Stonjourner, such as its location and the possibility of encountering Shiny versions of this Gen 8 Pokémon, can be found below.
How to obtain Stonjourner
According to Niantic’s official event page, Stonjourner will be available to catch during Pokemon Go’s All Out event, starting on September 3. This will also mark the first time that Trainers in the United Kingdom will have the chance to encounter Stonjourner in the game.
Stonjourner is exclusive to the UK in Pokemon Go
Players outside of the UK, where Stonjourner is a regional exclusive, will either have to trade with other Trainers or wait for it to appear in Raids and use Remote Raid Passes to join.
Is Stonjourner Capable of Being Shiny in Pokemon Go?
The Shiny version of Stonjourner is currently unavailable.
At this time, Niantic has not provided any further information. However, it is common for Shiny versions of Pokemon to be revealed at a later date, usually through events, as seen in previous debuts.
We will revise this section as soon as Shiny Stonjourner becomes accessible.
