Hades 2 offers an extensive range of resources to gather, including minerals to mine, seeds to plant, and materials that can be used for concoctions. Thalamus is a crucial resource required for a significant upgrade, and here is a guide on obtaining Thalamus in Hades 2.
How to Find Thalamus in Hades 2
To obtain Thalamus in Hades 2, players must obtain Origin Seeds from the Chaos region and plant them at the Crossroads. Before starting the run, players must ensure that they have the Silver Spade equipped and dig up any dirt patches upon entering the Chaos Gate.
In order to obtain the Origin Seeds, players must first speak to Chaos and gain access to the surface. This will require the Unraveling A Fateful Bond Incantation to be available at the Crossroads Cauldron. The seeds will not be immediately available and will require some effort to become farmable.
Once the incantation becomes accessible, speaking with Chaos again will grant access to Origin Seeds during the run. Additionally, Chaos may also provide an Origin Seed for your initial use. Equipping the Silver Spade and entering the Chaos Gate afterwards has the potential to reveal digging spots within the Chaos realm that hold Origin Seeds.
After obtaining the Origin Seeds, they can be planted in the designated soil spots located in the Crossroads. This will result in the growth of Thalamus, which requires seven encounters to fully mature. Therefore, a single run in the underworld should suffice.
How to Use Thalamus in Hades 2
One of the primary purposes of Thalamus is to acquire the Unraveling A Fateful Bond Incantation. This spell enables players to spend more time exploring the surface without perishing after just a few minutes.
The Ritual of Breaking Ties with Chaos demands the use of two Lotus, two Moss, two Nightshade, and two Thalamus. Speaking to Chaos will grant one Origin Seed, but players must continue through the underworld until another Chaos gate appears in order to obtain another.
