How to Obtain the Belurat Storeroom Key and Its Purpose

The highly anticipated Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring has finally been released, prompting players to eagerly uncover its mysteries.

After a strange turn of events, once you find the key, you will have moved past the Storeroom that it opens. However, it is highly recommended to retrace your steps as it will lead you to your first meeting with Hornsent Grandam, a member of the Belurat race who resides in Tower Settlement.

As you revisit Hornsent Grandam during certain points in the game, you will be rewarded with an intriguing spell and a new item on your journey.

Keeping all of that in mind, we have prepared a guide on how to locate the Storeroom Key and effectively utilize it in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Where to Get the Belurat Storeroom Key

The location of the key is in close proximity to the center of Belurat, Tower Settlement. The “Small Private Altar”Site of Grace serves as a reliable landmark. Starting there, proceed up the nearby stairs and either confront or avoid the Horned Knight.

Make your way to the left and eliminate the initial Shade. Continue around the corner and engage in battle with two additional Shades. You may come across some debris, but jump over it and enter the small room across from it. A third Shade will be waiting for you, so defeat it before climbing up the ladder to the next level. At the top of the ladder, you will find a body that can be searched for the key.

Where to use the Belurat Storeroom Key

Once again, quickly travel back to the Small Private Altar Site of Grace, but this time take the left path to reach the wide walkway. Be cautious as you will encounter two more Sorcerer Shades, so be prepared to defeat them before continuing down the path.

Although she is talkative, she won’t be of much help until you defeat the Divine Beast Dancing Lion, the boss of Belurat Tower Settlement. Once you have defeated the boss and obtained its reward, return to her and she will grant you the Watchful Spirit spell as a reward.
