The latest update for Fortnite on June 18 has included a hotfix that reintroduces the Combat Assault Rifle to the available weapons. This rifle was originally introduced in the Battle Royale during Chapter 2 Season 8 and had not been featured in the game since Chapter 3.

After being modified by Epic, the Combat Assault Rifle is now fully automatic and boasts a narrow bullet spread. However, it still has a significant kickback, making it most effective in medium to close-range combat situations.

How to Obtain the Combat Assault Rifle in Fortnite Chapter 5 Season 3

The Combat Assault Rifle in Fortnite can be obtained through various means such as being found as floor loot, in loot chests, supply drones, weapon cases, and supply drops during your Battle Royale matches.

The classic AR can be found in five different rarities, ranging from Uncommon to Legendary, throughout Chapter 5 Season 3. The stats of each variant of the Combat AR will vary depending on its rarity, with the Legendary version being the most powerful and the Uncommon version being the least powerful.
