How to Obtain Wugtrio in Pokemon Go
Wugtrio is a Pokemon that originates from the Paldea region, first appearing in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet. However, capturing one in Pokemon Go is not as simple as it is in the mainline games.
At present, the sole method of obtaining Wugtrio in Pokemon Go is through evolving a Wiglett using the traditional evolution process. Although it is possible to trade for a Wugtrio with another player, this may prove to be even more difficult due to the infrequent spawning of Wiglett.
Currently, there is no known method to obtain a Wiglett or Wugtrio, and they are not available as rewards for completing Research Tasks or winning Battle League battles.
Can Wugtrio be Shiny in Pokemon Go?
As of now, both Wugtrio and Wiglett cannot be found in their Shiny forms in Pokemon Go. Players will need to wait for a future event to obtain their Shiny versions.
Once Shiny Wugtrio is released, it will be easily recognizable due to its bright blue body and yellow nose, a stark contrast to the regular version’s red body and white nose.
How to evolve Wiglett into Wugtrio in Pokemon Go
To evolve Wiglett into Wugtrio in Pokemon Go, you will need to collect 50x Wiglett Candy. Therefore, it is recommended that you start catching Wiglett in order to accumulate enough resources.
If you’re looking to capture multiple Wiglett in order to obtain a Wugtrio, you can locate Wiglett in Beach biomes, which were recently introduced in the game as part of the Pokemon Go Rediscover Go event.
