Riot’s upcoming fighting game 2XKO is expected to launch in 2025. However, players from select countries can already register for the first-ever online play test. Read on to find out how.
Riot Games’ upcoming tag-team fighting game, 2XKO, has generated a lot of excitement among the FGC. Known for developing the highly successful MOBA League of Legends and the recent hit tactical shooter Valorant, Riot Games is now venturing into the fighting game genre by incorporating champions from their popular MOBA title.
Riot has recently revealed that there will be an online testing phase in August of 2024 called the Alpha Lab for 2XKO. Players will be able to participate in this initial stage of the game’s development on PC, Xbox Series X|S and PlayStation 5. This will be the first chance for players to experience the game in its earliest form.

How to Join 2XKO’s Alpha Lab Early Play Test
To participate in the Alpha Lab play test for 2XKO, you must first register on Riot’s official sign-up page at https://alpha.2xko.riotgames.com/en-us/. During registration, you will be prompted to provide a valid email and Riot account. After registering, you will receive an email containing a survey that must be completed in order to qualify for an invitation.
Upon receiving an invitation via email, you will have the opportunity to select your preferred platform. The invitation will be sent to the email address that you have provided. Once you have accepted the invitation, you will be able to download and immediately jump into the action.
Play Test for 2XKO’s Alpha Lab
The 2XKO Alpha Lab play test will take place from Thursday, August 8, 2024 until Monday, August 19. This provides approximately ten days for you to join and engage in battles with other early-access players.
It should be mentioned that the 2XKO Alpha Lab play test is limited to the US, Canada, UK, France, Brazil, Japan, and Mexico only. If you are not currently residing in one of these countries, you will not be able to participate in this play test.
