In late 2023, YouTube introduced Playables as an experimental feature, which allowed its users to access certain games without having to download them.

The feature can be accessed through the YouTube app (version 18.33 and higher) for both Android and iOS users. On desktop, Playables is compatible with Chrome, Firefox, and Safari browsers.

How to Play YouTube Playables

To access the games available on YouTube, simply click on the ‘Playables’ widget on the home page or go to the official Playables page by visiting the link provided. Once on the page, users can start any interactive game by clicking on the ‘Start Game’ button on a game card.

Saving and sharing Playables is also possible by clicking on the three dots icon located at the bottom-right corner of each card.

What Games Are Available in YouTube Playables?

There are currently 73 games available in YouTube’s Playables collection, covering a diverse range of genres such as puzzle games, simulations, strategy titles, and arcade adventures.

Based on the “Popular”section of the Playable page, it can be seen that games like Draw Climber, Turbo Stars, and Mob Control have gained significant popularity among players.

Some other experiences that are included in the constantly expanding collection are Angry Birds Showdown, Alien Shooter, Chess Classic, Pocket Battle Royale, Today’s Hurdle, and Trivia Crack.
