Raids can cause your base to burn down, but don’t panic. Here’s how to put out fires in Palworld with these quick and easy methods.
You’ve probably seen clips showing what would typically happen during raids in Palworld. The sheer horror of seeing a well-kept base inevitably burn to the ground as chaos ensues is something no one wants to experience in the game.
Or maybe you experienced it yourself and have to start from the beginning. In any case, bases can catch fire, no matter how sophisticated they look or how resourceful they are.
Fortunately, there are ways to quickly deal with wooden structures that catch fire. Find out how to put out fires in Palworld to protect your precious base.
How to put out fires in your base in Palworld
Base on fire in Palworld
There are two easy ways to put out fires in Palworld. The first requires you to have Water-type Pals nearby. Fuack, Penking or Celeray are the ones you usually find in the wild when you start out. So it’s best to have a few in your base just in case.
Apart from watering your crops, these Water-type Pals can also help you put out fires when placed near the burning structure. Your base can probably be saved if the fire hasn’t spread too far.
There is another method of putting out fires, although it briefly breaks the immersion. To do this, you will need to enter Construction mode and deconstruct the parts of your base that are on fire. Anything you deconstruct will disappear with the flames.
How to prevent fires in your base in Palworld
If you want to prevent your base from going up in flames, it is recommended to build a base out of stone or steel. Although these materials can still be damaged during raids, they are more durable and will not catch fire, unlike wood.
It requires a bit of work to get all the materials, and if that’s not too exciting for you, you can also just turn off raids in the game’s settings. Fortunately, the settings can be changed regardless of how far you’re progressing in the game. So if you change your mind later, don’t hesitate to re-enable them.
