How to Select Missions and Operations in Warhammer 40k Space Marine 2

In Space Marine 2, a highly anticipated game set in the Warhammer 40K universe, players can enjoy both co-op gameplay and a compelling single-player story. One key feature of multiplayer story games is the ability to replay past missions with a friend. Without this option, players would be required to complete the entire game with the same group. Additionally, certain operations can only be accessed outside of the main campaign. To learn how to select missions and operations in Space Marine 2, read on.

Selecting Missions and Operations in Space Marine 2

As with options such as choosing a difficulty, in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2, one player must select the missions for the entire team. It is logical to consider that the game cannot allow for the selection of two story missions simultaneously, as well as for individual operations. This only applies, of course, if you are playing the game in co-op multiplayer mode.

To access a campaign mission or operation in Space Marine 2, simply approach the terminal located on the Battle Barge. This terminal is located on the landing pad, where missions are typically initiated, and is situated directly in front of the parked spaceship. You can easily identify the correct terminal by comparing it to the one shown in the screenshot above.

Moving forward, choosing a mission or operation is a simple task. Simply choose either option, and then select the specific level you wish to complete. While you have the freedom to choose a story mission that has not yet been unlocked, it is not recommended if you value the storyline.

Selecting an operation will require you to also choose a class. This will determine the equipment that will be at your disposal and your role within the team. If you are playing Operations on your own, you may not have as many options as they seem to be primarily designed for co-op gameplay.

How to Play PvP Mode in Infinite War: Space Marine 2

Interestingly, the option to select the PvP multiplayer mode is not available directly from the main menu. Instead, the process is identical to choosing a campaign mission or an operation. In Space Marine 2, the PvP modes are known as Infinite War, at least within the game.

The game Infinite War offers a variety of multiplayer modes, including a classic quick match. According to the development roadmap, titled “Battle Plan”for Space Marine 2, additional PvP modes and PvE levels will be introduced in the upcoming months and years.
