How to Teleport in 7 Days to Die

While 7 Days to Die does not include a built-in fast travel system, there are methods available to teleport yourself and your friends across the map, simplifying your gameplay experience.

Traveling across the map in 7 Days to Die can be a lengthy process, especially when searching for Traders and exploring new Biomes. Therefore, here is a guide on how to teleport in the game.

How to Teleport in 7 Days to Die on PC

To teleport in 7 Days to Die on PC, simply access the debug menu by pressing F1. Once opened, type ‘dm’ and hit enter, then proceed to follow these steps:

1. Once debugging is active, exit the menu.
2. Press escape.
3. Navigate to ‘Open POI Teleporter’ and select it.
4. Browse through the POIs and select the one you wish to teleport to.

Use the POI Teleporter here to TP to a different place quickly.

If you prefer not to teleport to a particular POI, you can still teleport to various locations on the map at random. Here’s how to do it:

1. While debugging is active, open your map by pressing M.
2. Scroll to the area you want to teleport to.
3. Click on the area while holding down CTRL.

It is not necessary to have discovered any of the Points of Interest in order to teleport to them, but enabling the debug menu will disable achievements. Therefore, if you wish to continue earning achievements, be sure to deactivate the debug menu once you have finished teleporting.

Teleporting Other Players in 7 Days to Die

Finding each other in 7 Days to Die can be a challenging task for players, but there is a solution to this problem. By using the debug menu, you can easily locate your friends and reunite with them.

1. To activate debugging, press F1 and type dm.
2. Type teleportplayer [steam id] [steam id] [x y z] [view direction]
3. Press the enter key.

Another option is to request the other player’s precise coordinates and then use the command ‘teleport’ followed by the coordinates to transport yourself to their location. Alternatively, you can use their Steam ID to easily teleport to their location.

Can You Teleport on Console?

At the moment, it is not possible to teleport in 7 Days to Die on console. The use of debug menu and console commands is required, but these features are only available on PC and cannot be activated on other platforms.

In such a situation, it would be wise to purchase a means of transportation to ensure convenient travel between locations. Alternatively, you could exchange coordinates or arrange to meet at the nearest Trader with a friend in order to reunite.
