In Once Human, a survival game, a good and roomy backpack is essential. It allows players to easily collect and explore, and without it, they may face difficulties. As valuable items can be found at any time, having extra room is a significant advantage.
With the new possibility to enlarge your backpack, players have the opportunity to expand their storage space, although there is a factor of chance involved.
1. How to Unlock and Expand Your Backpack in Once Human?
Upon reaching level 15, players have the option to utilize a Memetic Specialization to create a Gravel and Log On-the-go backpack expansion. Once this specialization is unlocked, players can then expand their backpack using it.
Obtaining the necessary Memetic can be challenging as it relies on RNG. However, there is a guaranteed method to acquire it. Upon reaching level 50, players are able to obtain all specializations. Therefore, it is advisable to wait until reaching the maximum level before obtaining it.
2. Craft Backpack Expansion in Once Human
Once you have accessed the specialization, your immediate task will be to create the Backpack Expansion using an Intermediate Workbench. The necessary items for this task are listed below:
- 15x Rubber
- 10x Metal Scrap
- 10x Raw Hide
Once you have gathered all the necessary items, proceed to the workbench and select the Backpack Expansion recipe. Press “F” to craft the item. Once the crafting is complete, the item will automatically appear in your inventory.
Note: There are three tiers of craftable Backpack Expansions: 40%, 60%, and 80% Weight Reduction, respectively. Each tier requires rarer materials to craft.
