Understanding the Clash Gamemode

The fundamental premise of Clash is quite similar to that of Rush. In this game mode, two teams of five players enter the arena after spawning in and landing, with the objective of scoring enough points to trigger a Rampage and attack the enemy’s Guardian. The goal is to inflict as much damage as possible to the Guardian during the Rampage, with the ultimate aim of defeating it and emerging victorious. Nonetheless, there are some key differences that add variety to the gameplay.

For starters, claiming zones is now automated, as each team can deploy creatures on the zones to gain various advantages. These creatures can heal nearby teammates, provide vision for predicting attacks, construct walls to control enemy movement, and grant other buffs. Additionally, they collect power automatically, although they can be eliminated, allowing the opposing team to potentially acquire the power.

In contrast to Rush, Rampages function in a distinct manner. Rather than having a solitary health bar, Guardians possess multiple smaller health bars that must be depleted. Once a health bar is eliminated, the Rampage ceases and players resume collecting power. The first team to deplete all three health bars of a Guardian emerges victorious.
