The JAK Widemouth Barrel is an Aftermarket Part available in MW3 and Warzone for the MORS, which allows players to transform the railgun sniper into a blunderbuss. Luckily, it is relatively simple to obtain.
The first update of Season 5 introduces a variety of new Aftermarket Parts to both multiplayer and battle royale modes, including the JAK Widemouth Barrel.
When used with the MORS, this distinct conversion kit transforms the sniper rifle into a futuristic Blunderbuss, a powerful shotgun designed for close-quarters combat that was last seen in COD WWII. Although it may not be as effective at longer distances, this version of the MORS serves as an excellent backup weapon for close-range encounters.
Despite its enjoyable multiplayer capabilities and potential for one-shot kills, it is unlikely to become a dominant force in the meta in the near future. In Warzone, other shotguns such as the JAK Wardens and Haymaker are more effective options.
Instructions for Obtaining the JAK Widemouth Barrel Conversion Kit
The JAK Widemouth Barrel can be obtained by successfully completing five weekly challenges in Season 5, Week 1. These challenges can be fulfilled in multiplayer, Warzone, Zombies, or a combination of all three game modes.
Once you have completed five challenges and obtained the JAK Gunslinger, you will be able to equip the Aftermarket Part in the Conversion Kit attachment slot on the MORS. This can be done by reaching Level 19 on the futuristic sniper rifle beforehand.
