How to Utilize Mass Substitutions in College Football 25

The community’s persistent request for the addition of Mass Subs to the game was finally fulfilled with the release of the College Football 25 1.010 update.

Despite the lengthy duration of the College Football season, injuries to key players have been a frequent occurrence in the sport. In order to prevent this, coaches often substitute their starting lineup with a second unit in real life. However, this option was not available when CFB25 was initially released, leading to a high number of injuries during Dynasty runs.

After receiving numerous requests from players online, the feature has been added to the game. Keeping this in mind, here’s a guide on how to use Mass Subs in College Football 25 Dynasty.

Making Mass Subs in CFB25

  1. Begin a Dynasty mode game.
  2. To access the ‘Coaching’ tab, open the pause menu and scroll down.
  3. Click on ‘Mass Sub Backups’ and verify the modifications.

Rotate frequently to keep your players fresh and fit.

Upon confirming the change, your benched players will be placed on the field in their designated positions. You can undo the change by following the same steps. Additionally, you can begin the game with your secondary team and substitute your entire starting lineup. This feature also works in reverse.

It should be noted that the Mass Subs option is exclusively available when facing the AI in both online and offline Dynasty modes. It is important to remember that this feature may not properly identify redshirted players, potentially affecting their status.

The game’s Wear & Tear system accurately keeps track of collisions, causing injuries to occur on various parts of your starters’ bodies. These injuries not only impact their performance, but also have the potential to result in serious and lengthy recovery times if they continue to play through the pain. In such situations where the game’s outcome is already decided, it is advisable to make mass substitutions to avoid worsening the injuries.
