How to Watch QTCinderella’s 2024 Streamer Awards: Categories and Nominations Explained

QTCinderella’s Stream Awards are set to make their return in 2024, marking a significant change as the event will take place at the end of the year for the very first time. Here’s everything we currently know about the event, including details on how to cast your votes and where to tune in.

Launched in 2022 by Twitch streamer QTCinderella, the Streamer Awards have quickly established themselves as the premier event for celebrating the most prominent figures in the streaming community.

Following the success of the previous two editions, the show’s third annual broadcast was a hit, and now it is gearing up for a repeat performance in December. The shift from the first quarter to the last quarter of the year transforms the ceremony into a festive year-end celebration.

In addition to the new date, a new venue is in store. The Streamer Awards will be hosted at the Mayan Theatre, a more compact and “intimate” venue that also serves as a nightclub, conveniently located near the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

How to Watch the Streamer Awards 2024

Mark your calendars for December 7 at 3 PM PT / 6 PM ET / 11 PM BST, as the Streamer Awards 2024 will be streamed live on Twitch.

You can catch the event via QTCinderella’s Twitch channel, which reached a remarkable peak of over 275,000 viewers during the last ceremony in February.

This year, no tickets will be available for the live audience, as the event will be strictly invite-only. QTCinderella noted that this decision stems from the venue change, explaining, “space is limited.”

The previous year’s awards spanned over three hours, and we can expect a similar runtime this year, possibly even longer, as new categories have been added to the lineup.

How to Vote

Fans are wholeheartedly encouraged to join in the nomination and voting process, which can be conveniently done online.

To participate, visit the Streamer Awards nominations page, where you can nominate individuals for each category or choose to skip unfamiliar categories. Nominations will close on November 4.

This year, the Streamer Awards will feature a total of 27 categories, including five brand new ones: Best MOBA Streamer, Best Sports Streamer, Best Fortnite Streamer, Best Streamed Collaboration, and Best Marathon Stream.

Best Creative Arts Streamer

Recognizes the top streamer for content related to Art, Music and DJing, Food & Drink, or Makers & Crafting.

Best Roleplay Streamer

Awarded to the streamer delivering the finest role-playing content in games such as GTA RP, Rust, VRChat, Ark, and Dungeons & Dragons.

Best MOBA Streamer

Celebrates the streamer providing the best content for MOBA games like League of Legends, Dota 2, Pokémon UNITE, and SMITE.

Hidden Gem

This designation highlights an incredible streamer with an average of less than 200 viewers in the past year.

Best Battle Royale Streamer

Awarded to the streamer excelling in battle royale content from games like Apex Legends, PUBG, and Call of Duty: Warzone.

Best Fighting Games Streamer

Recognizes the streamer who crafts the best content centered around fighting games such as Street Fighter 6, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Mortal Kombat.

Best Speedrun Streamer

Acknowledges the streamer who creates exceptional content while speedrunning games.

Best Sports Streamer

Celebrates the streamer who offers excellent sports coverage or gameplay from sports titles like EA Sports FC 24 and NBA 2K24.

Best Fortnite Streamer (Presented by Fortnite)

This award honors some of the most popular Fortnite streamers, with flossing encouraged for the winner.

Best FPS Streamer

This award is for the most enjoyable streamer to watch playing first-person shooter games.

Best Strategy Game Streamer

Recognizes the best streamer for content in strategy games, including Teamfight Tactics, Starcraft, and Chess.

Get Off Your A** Award (Best IRL Streamer)

Thanks to Mountain Dew, the Best IRL streamer will be awarded as the Get Off Your A** Award this year.

Stream Game of the Year

Acknowledges the most entertaining and engaging game streamed throughout the past year.

Best Content Organization

Awarded to the esports or content organization that produced the best content over the past year.

Best International Streamer

Recognizes the top streamer focusing on content creation for a global audience, particularly those not in North America.

Best Streamed Collaboration

This award goes to the most exciting collaboration in live streaming for 2024.

Best Streamed Event

Acknowledges the most entertaining or noteworthy event streamed during 2024.

Best Marathon Stream

This award recognizes the best streaming event that continued until a specific goal was achieved, whether for a subathon or completing a tough game.

Best VTuber

Awarded to the top streamer utilizing a virtual avatar to create engaging entertainment.

Best Variety Streamer

Recognizes the best streamer who provides diverse gaming content, switching genres while keeping viewers engaged.

Best Just Chatting Streamer

Awarded to the top streamer who frequently hosts Just Chatting sessions.

Rising Star Award

This award highlights a streamer who began the year with no more than 1,000 viewers and shows promising potential to grow significantly.
